There was a good turn out of around 100 people to see the launch of Rosemary’s Exhibition at Sewerby Hall on the 27th March in the afternoon. People had to queue outside the main room due to the numbers attending the opening. This was much more than had been anticipated by the organisers. The event was opened by Councillor David Rudd Vice-Chairman of East Riding Yorkshire Council, pictured here with Rosemary.
The paintings will remain on display until May 16th in the West Wing of Sewerby Hall which will be open every day from 10am to 5pm.
In the collection of paintings on show were some of Rosemary’s latest work. This included some vibrant abstract art paintings, atmospheric landscape paintings, dramatic seascape paintings and beautiful flower paintings. In total there were over 70 paintings on display to the general public.

There were also some textile interpretations of some of Rosemary’s paintings on display which were created by Janet Bevan specifically for the exhibition.
